How I Enjoy Social Media, Not That You Asked

[This isn’t a guide on how to enjoy social media. I’m spitting out how I enjoy social media and what I think is important for the way I do.]

A couple of months back, a friend told me — “You get a lot of likes on your posts, I wish I could get that validation.” This surprised me quite a bit, because one, I didn’t know what they meant by validation. I was completely unfamiliar with the concept in relation to social media. And two, do I get a lot of likes? I didn’t know what to make of that, so I just laughed and talked about something else.

What Neon Genesis Evangelion Means To Me

“Evangelion is like a puzzle, you know. Any person can see it and give their own answer. In other words, we’re offering viewers to think by themselves, so that each person can imagine his/her own world. We will never offer the answers, even in the theatrical version (End of Eva). As for many Evangelion viewers, they may expect us to provide the ‘all-about Eva’ manuals, but there is no such thing. Don’t expect to get answers by someone. Don’t expect to be catered to all the time. We all have to find our own answers.”

Armchair Musings: Optimism and naivete, I guess

I’ve been thinking a lot about life lately. Mostly people’s attitudes to things, and one conclusion I came to is, I don’t actually know that many very¬†optimistic people in my life. Maybe it’s the people I just happen to know, but it’s not a problem to me at all. I think it’d be pretty fucking weird if most people I knew were optimists, but even still, I barely know any. But the thing is, I’m wondering why.
